WATCH: Third Jan. 6 hearing turns to pressure on Pence to reject election

The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection called on witnesses to testify Thursday about how former President Donald Trump pressed then-Vice President Mike Pence to reject the electoral count before the Capitol riot.

Pence attorney Greg Jacob and Michael Luttig, a conservative lawyer and former federal judge, both testified.

Jacob pushed back on pressure for Pence to carry out the plan. And Luttig called conservative law professor John Eastman’s plan for Pence to reject the results “incorrect at every turn,” The Associated Press reports.
